Middletown man arrested following identity theft investigation

PRESS RELEASE

The New York State Police, SP Middletown, announces the arrest of Justin Dupree, age 27, of Middletown, New York, subsequent to an investigation conducted by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation into several identity theft cases involving stolen credit card information. Dupree was arrested after a traffic stop on Fortune Road in the Town of Wallkill, and found in possession of nine forged credit cards. Dupree was charged with nine counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the second degree, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Second Degree. He was arraigned in the Town of Wallkill Court and was committed to Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond, pending a future court appearance.
