Wappinger man arrested following domestic incident

Wappinger, New York – On June 27, 2015, New York State Police from the Wappinger Barracks arrested Aaron Dizillo, 23 years old, of Wappinger, New York, for Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Harassment 2nd Degree, a Violation.
On June 27, 2015, Troopers were dispatched to a physical domestic incident at a Wappinger residence. Police arrived on scene and interviewed a 21-year-old Wappinger woman who reported that Dizillo punched her in the face. Dizillo then restrained the victim, preventing her from leaving the home or getting police assistance.
Dizillo was arraigned before the Town of Wappinger Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear before the Town of Wappinger Court on July 8, 2015 at 5:30 p.m.
