State Police arrest 5 subjects on drug charges

PRESS RELEASE

      

On 06/21/15, New York State Police at Catskill arrested NIKITA NIKITIN, age 27, of Manhattan, NY, KAITLIN MARRIN, age 28, of Westchester, NY, ANNA KNESICH, age 25, of Queens, NY, THOMAS ULEANO, age 30, of Monroe, NY, and MARTIN PELLERANO, age 29, of Queens, NY.  The arrests were the result of State Police responding to assist a disabled vehicle which broke down on State Route-32 in the Town of Catskill. While at the scene State Police found illegal narcotics(Ketamine) and packaging materials within the vehicle.  As a result, The five suspects were charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, a class C felony, and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, a class A Misdemeanor.  ANNA KNESICH was charged with an additional charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree, a class D Felony for more Ketamine on her person and NIKITA NIKITIN was charged with an additional charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, an A Misdemeanor for having a small amount of cocaine on his person.
Following the arrests, all five suspects were arraigned in the Town of Catskill Court before Town Justice Rick Jacobs and were each remanded to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail and $40,000 bond.
