High Falls man arrested for Criminal Mischief 3rd

The New York State Police at Ellenville announce the arrest of William D. Dalton, a 51 year old from High Falls, New York for two counts of Criminal Mischief 3rd, Felony’s.
On June 21, 2015 Members of SP Ellenville responded to Mohonk Road, High Falls for a subject who took a backhoe and struck a residence, dug a hole damaging the septic system and damaged a ten foot cross structure.
Further investigation revealed William D. Dalton was the one who operated the backhoe and damaged his neighbor’s property, because of an ongoing neighbor dispute.
On June 23, 2015 Dalton turned himself in at SP Ellenville. Dalton was processed at SP Ellenville and arraigned in front of Town of Ellenville, Town Justice Charles Dechon, who remanded Dalton to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of no bail. Dalton is to reappear in the Town of Marbletown Court on June 29, 2015 at 5:30 p.m.
