Connecticut man arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

Southeast, New York – On June 21, 2015, New York State Police from East Fishkill arrested 23-year-old David D. Meireles of Danbury, Connecticut, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.Meireles was arrested after Troopers stopped the vehicle he was operating on Route 22 for failure to maintain his lane.  An interview of Meireles revealed that he was intoxicated at the time of the stop.

Meireles provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .11% and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Southeast Court on June 30, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
