Dover Plains – Eugene E. Bauer, 81, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY died on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Sharon Health Care Center in Sharon, CT. Mr. Bauer was a tool and die maker for American Systoscope in Stamford, CT. He was also a member of the German Ski Club in New York City.
Born on January 15, 1934 in Astoria, NY he was the son of the late Bernard and Lydia (Wuest) Bauer. Mr. Bauer is survived by his daughter, Nicole Friedrich and her husband, Lawrence, of Ancram, NY and two grandchildren, Hailyn Suarez and Claire Friedrich both of Ancram, NY.
