Pleasant Valley woman arrested for Grand Larceny

Stanford, New York – On June 16, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Courtney B. Brandl, 36 years old, of Pleasant Valley, New York, for Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony.

On June 13, 2015, Troopers were contacted by a Town of Stanford woman who reported that she noticed several pieces of jewelry missing from her home.  Following a detailed investigation conducted by the State Police, it was discovered that Brandl had stolen approximately $28,000 worth of jewelry from the victim’s residence.

Brandl was arraigned before Judge Weber of the Town of Stanford Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.

She is scheduled to return to the Town of Stanford Court on June 19, 2015 at
10:00 a.m.
