Harriman woman arrested for prostitution

On June 9 2015 Village of  Harriman Police, New York State Police and CNET-Hudson Valley conducted a joint investigation of prostitution in the Village of Harriman. This  investigation resulted in the arrest of  SYLVIA SHEHATA, a 45 year old female from Harriman, NY.  Shehata had agreed, with an undercover officer, to accept a cash payment in exchange for sexual services. Shehata was charged with Prostitution and Endangering the Welfare of a Child and released pending a June 18^th appearance in the Village of Harriman Court.
