Wappinger woman charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated

Wappinger, New York – On June 4, 2015, New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Ashley D. Potanovic, 26 years old, of Wappinger, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.Troopers stopped the vehicle Potanovic was operating on Kent Road for an inoperable brake lamp. While interviewing Potanovic, Troopers observed clues that indicated she was intoxicated at the time of the stop.
Potanovic provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .18%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication. She was issued traffic tickets ordering her to appear before the Town of Wappinger Court on June 25, 2015 at
5:30 p.m.
