1. Today is an “A” Day.
2. There will be Volleyball open gym today in the high school gym from 2-3:30 pm. All middle school and high school students are welcome to attend. If you have any questions please see Ms. Fisher.
3. All library books need to be returned to the library or high school office by Friday.
4. Attention all high school students! This week Yearbook Club will be celebrating Yearbook distribution day by hosting a spirit week. Friday is Fiesta Friday! Come decked out in your best summer party attire! Each day you dress up you receive a raffle ticket which will be entered in to win a prize of your choice! See one of the Yearbook staff members outside the dining hall to check in and enter. We will also be selling raffle tickets this week so come buy yours today. You don’t want to miss out on the best time of the year!
5. The J.H. Ketcham Ladies Auxiliary is looking for volunteers to help out at their Annual Chicken Bake & Vendor Fair on Saturday, June 6th. Stop by the community service office for contact information.
6. Are you in need of community service hours? Do you like horses? Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a permanent sanctuary to abused, neglected and unwanted horses. Volunteers will be asked to help with cleaning stalls, paddocks, grooming, watering and other general care. We are located at 2699 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Please stop by the community service office for contact information.
7. All Modified Softball players please return your uniforms no later than Friday.
8. Attention all Honor Society members and inductees: There will be a practice induction ceremony immediately after school on Tuesday, June 9th.
9. Are you interested in being part of a winning team? Come to a girls Golf Clinic today after school. See Mrs. Cleaveland or Ms. Loos for more details!
10. Green Team will meet today after school. Your help is needed and summer community service opportunities will be discussed for the summer.
11. Attention all middle and high school Drama Club cast and crew members: This year’s Dover Tony Awards will be on Thursday, June 18th at 6 pm. More information and invites will be sent out in the next few days. See Ariana Lasher, Shawn Wodraska or Mr. Stockslager for information. Mark your calendar now!
12. Attention all middle school students! There will be an activity night this Friday, June 5th from 6:30-9:00 pm. Come ready to dance the night away and play dodgeball at the last activity night of the year! Yearbooks will be sold for $30 at Activity Night this Friday. Please see Mrs. Armstrong or a Middle School Yearbook member for information.
13. Are you planning to study Math, Science, or Education? There are Scholarships that are due June 10th. Stop by the guidance office to pick them up!
