Carmel man charged with driving while intoxicated subsequent to traffic stop

PRESS RELEASE
Cortlandt, New York – On May 31, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt Barracks arrested James P. Galvin-Bersig, 34 years old, of Carmel, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers stopped a vehicle after it was observed failing to keep right of the double yellow line. An investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle, identified as Galvin-Bersig, was intoxicated at the time of the stop.
