PRESS RELEASE
On May 28, 2015, The New York State Police at Catskill arrested Amy A. Pelton, age 28 of Coxsackie, NY. Pelton was charged with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree and Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Third Degree.
The arrest was the result of an investigation which revealed that Pelton deposited a fraudulent check with the National Bank of Coxsackie and then withdrew funds exceeding $2,000.00 from the bank.
Pelton was arraigned before Town Justice Thomas Fori, Town of Coxsackie Court and was committed to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $5000.00 cash or $10,000 bond.
