SP Monroe – Grand Larceny arrest
On Tuesday, May 26th, 2015 the New York State Police at Monroe announce the arrest of Daniel M. Morris, age 29 of Wallkill, NY for Grand Larceny 3rd.
On 12/23/14 The Bureau of Criminal Investigation at the SP Monroe barracks received a complaint that jewelry was missing from a residence in the Town of Monroe. An investigation revealed that Morris pawned numerous pieces of jewelry at local pawn shops in Orange and Dutchess Counties between mid November and early December of 2014.
On May 26th, Morris was arrested and processed for Grand Larceny 3rd at SP Monroe. Morris was arraigned before Town of Monroe Justice Milligram and remanded to the custody of the Orange County Sheriff pending a future court date.
