Coxsackie man arrested for desecrating a cemetary

PRESS RELEASE

On May 22, 2015, State Police in Catskill arrested KRISTOPHER K. KOMAROMI, age 24, of Coxsackie, New York for 3 counts of Cemetery Desecration in the First Degree, a class E felony.  During the week of April 27, 2015, KOMAROMI stole numerous concrete flower planters from various grave sites located within the Riverside Cemetery in the Town of Coxsackie.  KOMAROMI would then take the planters to area antique shops and sell them for a profit. He was arraigned in Town of Coxsackie Court and committed to Greene County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond pending a future court appearance.
