Rhinebeck man arrested following public lewdness complaint

Rhinebeck, New York – On May 17, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested 58-year-old Gary Barrett of Rhinebeck, New York, for Public Lewdness, a Class B Misdemeanor.
Investigation revealed that Barrett exposed himself in a lewd manner to a female driver on Shatzell Avenue, in Rhinecliff.
Barrett was located a short time after the incident and placed under arrest.
The State Police were assisted by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.
He was released with an appearance ticket directing him to appear in the Town of Rhinebeck Court on May 21, 2015 at 5:00 p.m.
