Danbury man arrested for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated following traffic stop

Pawling, New York – On May 10, 2015, New York State Police from the Dover barracks arrested Elmer Ramirez Vasquez, 27 years old, of Danbury, Connecticut, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers stopped the vehicle Ramirez Vasquez was operating on State Route 22 for failure to maintain its lane of travel.  Subsequent investigation revealed that Ramirez Vasquez was intoxicated at the time of the stop.

Ramirez Vasquez provided a positive breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .21%.  He was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the Village of Pawling Court on May 14, 2015.
