Julio (Jay) Morales passed away peacefully at home on September 23, 2023.
Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on January 13, 1946, he was the son of the late Julio Morales, Sr. and Amparo (Alvarez) Morales and husband of Michelle Farnum Morales of Pawling.
For three decades, Jay was an art director and creative director for Doyle Dane Bernbach in NYC
Jay loved cooking, model trains, and cars, and collected art, fine wines and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. He was active in the Pawling Community and VP of the Pawling Chamber of Commerce for 20 years.
Jay is survived by his wife, Michelle, and brother, Joe N. Morales. He loved his nieces and nephew, Michaela and Lydia Morales, Jennifer (Farnum) Weber, Anna (Montbach) Pine, and Michael Montbach.
A memorial service will be held April 27 at 10:30 am at Christ Church, Quaker Hill, Pawling, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Pawling Resource Center.
