Danielle Marie Pantusco, 34, of Pittsfield, MA, passed away on January 25, 2024, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA.
Born on October 4, 1989 in Middletown, NY, she was the daughter of Lance J. Pantusco and the late Catherine J. Thornton. Danielle was a graduate of Webutuck High School class of 2007 and attended Dutchess Community College. Danielle loved listening to music and keeping up with all of the latest trends. She had an amazing sense of humor and was always making those around her smile and laugh. Danielle was a beautiful, bright and intelligent soul who left this world and all of us too soon. She will forever be missed but has given us precious memories that we will keep close in our hearts forever.
Danielle is survived by her son, Declan Kornegay of Nyack, NY; her sister, Shannon Schoonmaker-Bannerman of Hyde Park, NY, two brothers, John H. Schoonmaker of Bombay, NY, and Lance J. Pantusco Jr. of New Jersey and several nieces, nephews and countless loved ones. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her sister Lisa A. Schoonmaker, and her nephew, Joseph W. Avis Jr.
Calling hours will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Following the calling hours a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 62 Mill Street, Dover Plains, NY.
