William L. “Boo” Weaver, 42, a seven-year resident of Dover Plains, NY, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. Mr. Weaver was a warehouse picker for Fitness Showrooms in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Born on January 18, 1981 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of William Wilkes of North Carolina and the late Kimberly Weaver. On October 6, 2018 in Millerton, NY he married Karla Boston who survives at home.
Mr. Weaver was an avid basketball player and enjoyed the over 35 basketball league in Pawling. He recently took up Pickleball and was playing in Amenia.
In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Weaver is survived by a step-daughter, Jessica Hunter, of Dover Plains; two brothers, Treyvon and Lamont Weaver and a sister, Towanna Weaver. He is also survived by his uncle, Otis James Wilkes; two aunts, Rosemary Wilkes and Carolyn Wilkes and his mother-in-law, mother-in-law, Heidi Boston of Pawling NY.
Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his grandmothers, Irene Weaver and Thelma Wilkes; uncles, Mathew Wilkes, Jr. and Willie Andrew Wilkes; aunts, Janice Marie Wilkes and Dorothy Taylor and his brother-in-law, Clifton Boston, Jr.
Calling hours will take place from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY.
