Charles Albert Foley, 66, a longtime resident of Wingdale, NY, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2023, at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT. Mr. Foley was a laborer at Metro-North Railroad in Wassaic, NY for 40 years retiring in 2017.
Born on October 14, 1957 in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Albert and Ruth (Brandt) Foley. Mr. Foley was a graduate of Brewster High School class of 1975. On April 14, 1984 in Brewster, NY, he married Loretta Repka who survives at home.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Foley is survived by a son, Stephen Foley and his wife, Tara, of Oneida, NY, and two daughters, Kristin Foley and her companion, Lee Vannostrand, of Wingdale, NY, and Laura Kiser and her husband, Kevin, of Ellenton, FL. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Caleb, Evan, Emma, and Nathan.
Calling hours will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024, at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. A prayer service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
