Eileen Logiudice, 78, of Dover Plains, NY, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2023, after a short illness. Mrs. Logiudice was a medical receptionist working last at Woman to Woman OB/GYN in Yonkers, NY.
Born on April 9, 1945 in Yonkers, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jess J. and Eileen (Crimmins) Buzzutto. On May 11, 1969, at St. Margaret’s Church in Yonkers, NY she married John Logiudice who predeceased her on June 4, 1991.
Mrs. Logiudice was a member of the Yonkers Seniors till her move to Dover when she joined the Dover Seniors. She was also a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Amenia.
Mrs. Logiudice is survived by a son John Logiudice and his wife, Michele Pennisi of Patterson, NY and a daughter, Eileen Logiudice of Dover Plains. She is also survived by a brother, Roy Buzzuto of Cherry Valley, NY and a granddaughter, Tori Medina. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Logiudice was predeceased by a brother, Jess Buzzutto, who many knew as the Yonkers Leprechaun.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at the funeral home with Rev. AJ Stacks officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
