Mount Vernon, New York – On September 7, 2023, the New York State Police arrested Richard T. Bailey, age 32, of Yonkers, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3^rd degree with intent to sell, a class B felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4^th degree, a class C felony.

At approximately 6:14 p.m., Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2022 Kia sedan on Union Street in the city of Mount Vernon for violations of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation determined Bailey was in possession of approximately 6.6 grams of crack-cocaine.

Bailey was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the city of Mount Vernon Court on September 19, 2023, at 9:00 a.m.
