Gloria Ernestine Carrington, 83, a resident of Wingdale, NY for 51 years, passed away at Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, CT on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
Born in Richmond, VA on September 1, 1940 to Margaret Ball, she received an Associate’s Degree from Helene Fuld School of Nursing in New York City in 1978 and was a nurse at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT.
She married Gustav Anthony “Tony” Carrington on March 8, 1978; he survives at home.
Gloria enjoyed reading and cooking for her family.
In addition to her husband Tony, she is survived by her daughter, Denise Carrington, also of Wingdale.
Family and friends may pay their respects at Horn & Thomes, Inc Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 1-3 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home at 2:30 PM.
