Sheriff’s Office SRO Program Ready for 2023-2024 School Year
Sheriff Kirk Imperati is pleased to announce that the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer (SRO) Program has been enhanced and is well prepared for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. In addition to the already existing School Resource Officer staff Sheriff Imperati has assigned an additional SRO to the Wappinger Central School District for the 2023-2024 year, bringing the total amount of Sheriff’s Office SRO’s county-wide to 12.
Sheriff Imperati and the men and women at the Sheriff’s Office are extremely committed to the safety of all students and staff in our Dutchess County Schools, and helping to provide the safest and most productive learning environment possible is a top priority of the Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Imperati would like to wish students and staff all the best as they return to the classrooms this fall.
