Two Alleged Fentanyl Dealers Arrested by the Drug Task Force

The Dutchess County Drug Task Force reports a significant spike in overdoses in the Dutchess County area over this past weekend. In response, Drug Task Force agents were deployed into specific areas of Poughkeepsie on 07/24/23 resulting in two Fentanyl dealers operating in different locations being apprehended. The following individuals who were operating independently of one another are identified as;

Timothy Robinson of Poughkeepsie, age 59, was arrested and charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to sell 3rd degree. Mr. Robinson was selling Fentanyl in the area of Main Street and Rose Street in the City of Poughkeepsie. Mr. Robinson was arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie Court and remanded to DCJ without bail. Additional charges are pending.

Shaje Wilcox of Poughkeepsie, age 31, was arrested and charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree. Ms. Wilcox was selling Fentanyl in the lower Main Street areas near Waryas Park in the City of Poughkeepsie. Ms. Wilcox was arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie Court and ordered to appear back in court in early August. Additional charges are pending.

The Dutchess County Drug Task Force will continue to aggressively investigate and arrest drug dealers who sell poison in Dutchess County.
