Local residents graduate from RIT

ROCHESTER, NY (07/24/2023)– Rochester Institute of Technology conferred more than 4,800 degrees at all of its campuses in the 2022-2023 academic year. RIT’s academic convocation celebration was held in May and featured remarks by Thomas Zurbuchen, astrophysicist and the longest continually serving associate administrator for the Science Mission Directorate in NASA’s history.

The following local residents received degrees:

Gerard Loughran of Patterson (12563) received a degree in packaging science (BS)

Nicholas Doherty of Salt Point (12578) received a degree in biomedical engineering (BS)

Bethany Folchi of Pleasant Valley (12569) received a degree in mechanical engineering technology (BS)

Joe Castellano of Patterson (12563) received a degree in mechanical engineering technology (BS)

Liam Wack of Millbrook (12545) received a degree in chemical engineering (BS)

Kayleigh Kolz of Patterson (12563) received a degree in computer science (BS and MS)

Matthew Vitro of Holmes (12531) received a degree in mechanical engineering (BS)

Matthew Dampf of Clinton Corners (12514) received a degree in applied arts and sciences (BS)

Ben Clisby of Holmes (12531) received a degree in mechanical engineering technology (BS)
