Allen “Johnny” Wilcox, 83, a resident of Torrington, CT, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born on May 21, 1940, in Sharon, CT, he was the son of the late Allen and Bessie (Murphy) Wilcox.
Mr. Wilcox is survived by two sons, Arthur Wilcox of Wassaic and Dean Wilcox, and a daughter, Anna Farnham of Dover Plains. He is also survived by two brothers, Wallace Wilcox of Torrington, Kenneth Wilcox of Dover Plains and a sister, Priscilla Booth of Wingdale. He is also survived by two grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilcox was predeceased by a sister, Ella Acklin, and two brothers, William and Gerald Wilcox.
