Ellenville man arrested for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana

PRESS RELEASE
The New York State Police at Ellenville, announce the arrest of James Horvath III, age 26, of Ellenville NY for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd, a Felony and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation.
On May 4, 2015, the New York State Police at Ellenville observed a motor vehicle where the operator was not wearing a seatbelt. Troopers initiated a motor vehicle stop and upon interviewing the passenger, who was identified as James Horvath III, upon further investigation, Horvath was found in possession of a switchblade and a quantity of Marijuana. Horvath was subsequently arrested for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
Horvath was processed at the SP Ellenville then arraigned before V/J Matthew Parker at the Village of Ellenville Court. Horvath was released on his own recognizance and ordered to return to the Village of Ellenville Court on May 5, 2015 at 5:00pm.
