Cortlandt, New York – On January 13, 2023, the New York State Police form the Cortlandt barracks arrested Jose L. Erazo, age 41, of Cortlandt, for Attempted Burglary in the 3^rd degree, and Criminal Mischief in the 3^rd degree, both class E felonies.

At approximately 5:10 a.m., Troopers received a call from Zio’s Italian Deli on Albany Post Road for a burglar alarm and a broken window.  Investigation determined Jose Erazo attempted to force entry into the deli with a hammer unsuccessfully and then vandalized a security camera.

Erazo was arraigned before the town of Cortlandt Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail.
