Ulster County Sheriff’s Office Report

ARREST: Members of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Raymond Leybovich, 23 years old, of Todd Road, Woodbourne, NY.

Mr. Leybovich was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 5th degree, a Class A Misdemeanor and Petit Larceny, also a Class A Misdemeanor.

On April 29, 2015, Mr. Leybovich presented a stolen money order to staff at the Napanoch Post Office and did receive payment for the money order. Later that day, Mr. Leybovich attempted to cash two additional stolen money orders at the Ellenville Post Office. These incidents were reported to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
Members of U.S.P.I.S. and the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation, developed a suspect and subsequently arrested Raymond Leybovich Thursday afternoon. Mr. Leybovich was transported to the Wawarsing Substation and released on appearance tickets returnable to Town of Wawarsing Justice Court and Village of Ellenville Justice Court.

Members of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office were assisted by Inspectors from the United States Postal Inspection Service.

ARRESTS: Members of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrests of Alex J. Lopez-Garcia, 23, of Kingston, Jonathan M. Lynk ,21, of Rosendale, and Tammi S. Tosi ,34, of Kingston.

Mr. Lopez-Garcia, Ms. Tosi, and Mr. Lynk were each charged with the misdemeanors of Criminal Trespass and Criminal Possession of Marihuana 5th degree. Ms. Tosi was additionally charged with the felony of Tampering With Physical Evidence.

On April 29th, 2015 at about 11:30 p.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy was checking Forsyth Park when he observed three persons inside a fenced playground smoking marihuana. As the deputy approached, Ms. Tosi threw an object which was later determined to be a marihuana cigarette. The listed defendants were taken into custody and transported to the Ulster County Law Enforcement Center.

Mr. Lopez-Garci and Mr. Lynk were released with appearance tickets returnable to the City of Kingston Court on May 7th, 2015. Ms. Tosi was arraigned in Town of Marbletown Justice Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail and $75,000 bond.
