Obituary, Yvonne Louise O’Connell

Yvonne Louise O’Connell, 84, a longtime resident of Pawling, NY, passed away on May 4, 2022 at the Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Pawling. Yvonne was a therapy aide at the Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center in Wingdale, NY.

Born on March 21, 1938 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Jofrine (Vallet) Martin. Yvonne was a longtime member of the Pawling Methodist Church.

Yvonne is survived by a daughter, Laura Jones and her husband, Troy, of Pawling, NY and four grandchildren, Jennifer Crocker, Brian and Robert LaCroix and Leona O’Connell. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Jake and Zander Crocker, Robbie, Bradley and Chloe LaCroix.

In addition to her parents, Yvonne was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah LaCroix, a brother, Charles Martin and a great-grandson, Christopher LaCroix.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at the Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for the loving care and compassion that was given to Yvonne.
