Manuel Perillo, Jr.

LaGrange – Manuel Perillo, Jr., age 79, an area resident for 36 years and formerly of the Bronx, passed away on March 27, 2022, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was born on December 18, 1942, in New York, NY to the late Manuel and Mary (Casal) Perillo. On November 27, 1986, he married the love of his life MJ Marie St. George-Perillo at the Marist College Chapel in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Manuel proudly served in the United States Army and began his career as a police officer for the City of Mount Vernon. He then transferred to the Town of Greenburgh Police Department where he proudly served for over 20 years as a police officer and detective until his retirement in 1988. In his younger years, Manuel loved to go horseback riding and hunting. He was very proud of his Spanish heritage and enjoyed visiting family in Spain. He loved being outside, doing yard work, gardening, and was very meticulous about maintaining his lawn. When his children were growing up, he loved to watch and coach their sports teams.

Surviving him are his loving wife MJ Marie St. George-Perillo; his beloved children: Manny (Valerie) of Hopewell Junction, NY, Stephen (Jamie) of Hopewell Junction, NY, Philip (Ashley Klepach) of Beaver, PA, and Deanna of La Grange, NY; and his grandchildren Justin, Austin, Maia, and Lucas; his siblings Frank Perillo (Nancy), and Louis Perillo (Louise); his nieces and nephew: Jennifer, Nancy Ann, Sherry and Louis; as well as many dear cousins and his granddog Koby.

Calling hours will take place on Wednesday March 30, 2022, from 3-7 pm at  895 Rt. 82 Hopewell Junction, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30am at St. Denis Church in Hopewell, followed by a burial afterward in St. Denis Cemetery.
