Ginny married Gino on July 20th, 1957 at St. Joseph’s Church in Millbrook where she was an active member of the Women’s Guild and helped with many fundraisers for the Parochial School. Ginny cared deeply about her community and others, and even helped organize a trip to bring supplies to Tuscaloosa, AL after a tornado devastated the area.

Ginny raised 7 children and was able to run a household on a tight budget while making sure that all of her children had what they needed. She also made it possible to take her family on a beach vacation every year, where she loved walking on the beach and watching the waves.
Ginny was an accomplished seamstress. She sewed all of her daughter’s wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses as well as many outfits for her grandchildren. She could reupholster furniture and was always sewing cushions and curtains for family and friends. Ginny worked at St. Joseph’s Rectory, Roberts Douglas, and the Bank of Millbrook. She also started and ran Country Consignments in Millbrook for many years where she enjoyed buying and selling antiques and home furnishings with Gino. Ginny worked with Gino in running the Farmer’s Market and in later years would help him to harvest and sell his vegetables.
