Gloria Marie Raefski, 59, a long-time area resident, passed away at her home in Poughkeepsie on Thursday, December 2, 2021.
Born in Brooklyn on June 5, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Gloria (Kane) Raefski.
For many years she owned and operated a cleaning business. Gloria loved music and doing all kinds of crafts, but more than anything else, she loved her family.
She is survived by her three sons, Russell Cancro and wife Ashley of New Fairfield, CT, Sonnie Tucker of Mahopac, and Peter Tucker and wife Jessica of Pleasant Valley; her three siblings, Frank Raefski and wife Christine of Maryland, Theresa Farese and husband Biaggio of North Carolina, and Sean Raefski and wife Amy of Putnam Lake, NY; six grandchildren, Russell, Kinley, & Bridget Cancro and Isabella, Ziva, & Tyler Tucker; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Michelle Bishop.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY Saturday, December 11th from 3-5 PM.
Burial will be at a later date.
