Ribbon Cutting Event Next Thursday

On Thursday, April 22nd at 11am, Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Molinaro invites you to join him to celebrate the completion of the Phase IV of the Harlem Valley Rail Trail at the Village Green in Millerton. The Phase IV project, which has been open for use since November, is an 8-mile segment between Millerton in northeastern Dutchess County and Ancram in southeastern Columbia County. With this section now complete, there are 23 miles of continuous trail from the Wassaic Train Station in Amenia to the Copake Falls area of the Taconic State Park in Columbia County.

Thursday’s ceremonial ribbon cutting event coincides with Earth Day; a fitting celebration of nature and the importance of preserving its valuable resources.
