Cairo man arrested for menacing

PRESS RELEASE
On 04/19/15, New York State Police at Catskill arrested HAROLD S. GOUGH, age 71, of Cairo, NY. GOUGH was arrested as the result of an investigation into a domestic incident at a private residence in the Town of Cairo. It is alleged that GOUGH possessed a knife that he used to threaten another subject during the dispute. GOUGH was charged with Menacing 2nd, a class A Misdemeanor and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th, also a class A Misdemeanor.
Following his arrest, GOUGH was arraigned before Town Justice Miller in the Town of Cairo Court and was remanded to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,500 bond. GOUGH has a return date of 4/28/15 at the Town of Cairo Court at 2:00 pm.
