Sandra Paisley Noteware, 86, a resident of Pawling, NY and previously Lagrangeville, NY, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2020.
Born in Sharon, CT on August 25, 1933, she was the daughter of Frederick Lockwood Hunt and Mary Margaret (Hume) Hunt. Sandra was married to Robert Todd Noteware who predeceased her on
April 27, 1991.
Sandra attended Radford College and worked for IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY where she met Robert. Sandra loved the natural world around her, always enjoying what nature presented in the form of bird and plant life. She especially enjoyed long drives, travel, and time spent boating with family.
Sandra is survived by two sons, Todd Noteware of Pawling, NY, andMarc Noteware and his wife Elly of New Milford, CT, and a daughter, Valerie Scott and her husband David, of Winter Park, FL. Sandra is also survived by five grandchildren, Lindsey Scarpitti of Winter Park, FL, Ryan Scott of Nazareth, PA, Owen Scott of Winter Park, FL, Jessica Noteware of New York, NY and Allison Noteware of Naugatuck, CT. She also has two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Audrey Scott. Sandra is also survived by a brother, Shelley Hunt of Pawling, NY.
Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home of Pawling, NY will be handling the arrangements. A private graveside service will be held on Monday, April 20 at Freedom Plains Cemetery in Lagrangeville, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or The Dutchess County SPCA.
