Let’s Make Home Happen for Macy!
Macy was a stray kitten, found with a mason jar stuck on her head. By the time she was caught, the jar had broken, but the neck of the jar was still around her neck, with pointy shards sticking out around her face. The medical team at the DCSPCA was able to gently remove the rest of the jar without harming Macy. After being thoroughly checked out and appropriately vaccinated, Macy (and Masa, who was found with Macy) was made available for adoption
If you are interested in adopting Macy, or any of our other available pets, visit the Dutchess County SPCA at 636 Violet Avenue in Hyde Park. Adoption hours are 12pm to 5pm, Tuesday through Sunday with extended hours on Thursday until 7pm.
