State Police and Town of Poughkeepsie Police seeking public’s assistance in Cortlandt

Cortlandt, New York – September 30, 2019 – The New York State Police and the town of Poughkeepsie Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating George Grogan in relation to a possible homicide investigation.

Grogan’s vehicle was located near the Bear Mountain Bridge in the area of Anthony’s Nose trailhead.  This is a popular hiking area, and it is possible the black 2010 Dodge Caravan, bearing NY registration ANM7621, or George Grogan were seen by visitors frequenting the trails.

George Grogan, age 59, is 5 feet and 6 inches tall, with gray balding hair, weighing approximately 150-160 pounds.

If anyone saw this individual or vehicle in the area on Saturday, September 28, 2019, between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., they are asked to please contact the New York State Police at (914) 769-2600.  Please reference case # 9178276.
