On Wednesday, September 25, 2019, State Police Monroe arrested Joshua Vitek, age 28 of Highland Falls, NY. An investigation revealed that Vitek was involved with a sexual relationship with a person less than 15 years old.
He was charged with Sexual Abuse 1st Degree (felony), Criminal Sexual Act 2nd Degree (felony), Predatory Sexual Act Against a Child (felony) Rape 2nd Degree (felony), Rape 1st Degree 1st Degree (felony).
Joshua Vitek was arraigned in the Town of Monroe Court before Town Justice Milligram and remanded to Orange County Jail without bail. He has a return court on October 1, 2019 at 5 p.m.
