Wappingers Falls, NY man arrested for DWI with a B.A.C. over twice the legal limit.

Albany, NY – On August 11, 2019, at approximately 11:17 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-787 in the city of Albany for a vehicle and traffic violation.  The driver of the vehicle, Chandler E. Meekins, 56, of Wappingers Falls, NY, was found to be intoxicated.  He was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Albany where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18%.

Meekins was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor and a Vehicle and Traffic Violation.  He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the City of Albany Court on August 28, 2019, at 9:00 a.m.
