Goshen woman arrested for grand larceny after unlawfully obtaining unemployment insurance

The New York State Police in Monroe announce the arrest of Jeanette Almodovar, age 49, of Goshen, New York. Almodovar was charged with Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, a Class “D” Felony and Offering a False Instrument for Filing First Degree, a Class “E” Felony.

Investigation by the New York State Police in conjunction with the New York State Department of Labor revealed that Almodovar received over $9,397.25 in New York State Unemployment Benefits while being gainfully employed.

Almodovar is to appear in the Town of Goshen Court on April 15th, 2015 at 7:00P.M.
