State Police Wurtsboro Arrest Brooklyn Man for Criminal Possession of a Weapon

Sunday April 5th, 2015 Wurtsboro Troopers arrested a Brooklyn man for Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.
Wurtsboro Troopers stopped a vehicle for speeding 82mph in a 55mph zone on ST-17 on Sunday. Upon interview of the operator, Jonathan Bayona, of Brooklyn, it was discovered that he possessed Marihuana. After further investigation it was discovered that Bayona also possessed metal knuckles. Bayona was arrested and transported to SP Wurtsboro for processing. Bayona was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. Bayona is due to appear in Town of Mamakating court at a later date.
