UPDATE: State Police Greenville (Orange County) are investigating a hit and run

UPDATE:  State Police arrested Ismael Ramos, age 21 of Port Jervis for the hit and and run of Robert Ruscher. Ramos was arrested on January 31, 2019. He was charged with Leaving the Scene of a Serious of Injury Accident (felony) and Failure to Keep Right.

State Police Greenville (Orange County) are investigating a hit and run involving a pedestrian and an unknown vehicle. The incident occurred on January 8, 2019 between the time of 6:35 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Monahan Road in the town of Greenville.

On January 8, 2019 Robert Ruscher, age 62 of Greenville, NY, was on a morning run. He left his home on Rutger Creek Road and turned right onto Kurpick, then turned right onto Center Road, then a left onto Logtown Road and a left on County Route 1, and then onto Monahan Road. He then turned around on Monahan to return home. His last memory was seeing a vehicle in the vicinity of  the 100 block of Monahan Road. Ruscher suffered a broken right ankle, a head injury and several abrasions.
