Wappinger man arrested following a domestic dispute

Wappinger, New York – On February 6, 2018, the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Andre C. Evans, age 23, of Wappinger, for Criminal Mischief in the 3rd degree, a class E felony, Menacing in the 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree, both class A misdemeanors, and Harassment in the 2nddegree, a violation.

On February 6, 2019, at approximately 8:50 p.m., Troopers responded to Pembroke Circle in the town of Wappinger for a physical domestic dispute.  An investigation found Andre Evans engaged in a physical domestic, and menaced the victim with a kitchen knife.  During the course of the altercation, Evans destroyed a flat screen television and home décor.

Evans was arraigned before the town of Wappinger Court, and released on his own recognizance to re-appear before the Court on February 27, 2019, at 5:30 p.m.
