...WIND CHILL ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills. Wind chills as low as 15 to 30 
below zero. 

* WHERE...Eastern Windham County in southern Vermont, The 
Capital Region, southern Taconics and mid Hudson Valley of 
eastern New York and Litchfield Hills of northwestern 
Connecticut. 

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Tuesday. Wind chills will be between 15 
below and 30 below zero through this evening. Winds will 
diminish between midnight and daybreak Tuesday when wind chills 
will still be dangerous, between 10 below and 20 below zero. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The cold wind chills could cause 
frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... 

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will 
combine to create low wind chills. Frostbite and hypothermia can 
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and 
gloves.
