Middleburgh man arrested for violating an order of protection in courthouse

PRESS RELEASE
Hudson, New York – January 11, 2019, the New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Jeffrey A. Barmen, age 44, of Middleburgh, NY, for Criminal Contempt in the 1st degree, a class E felony.

Barmen was arrested as a result of violating an order of protection while he and the victim were in the Columbia County Court House in the city of Hudson.

Barmen was arraigned before the city of Hudson Court, and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or bond.  His next scheduled Court appearance is on January 17, 2019, at 8:30 a.m.
