Catskill man arrested for grand larceny in Greenport

Greenport, New York – On December 10, 2018, the New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Nicholas Birk, age 28, of Catskill, NY, for Grand Larceny in the 4th degree, a class E felony.
On November 30, 2018, the state police received a complaint of a stolen Bobcat hydraulic jackhammer from a business in the town of Greenport. The jackhammer, with an estimated value of $2,600, was recovered a short time later.
Birk was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Greenport Town Court on December 17, 2018, at 3:30 p.m.
