Thanksgiving provides family and friends an opportunity to traverse the miles that might separate us, gather together to show our gratitude, and make memories we’ll long cherish. While many will celebrate their blessings this day, too many still search for hope, peace, or prosperity. May this holiday remind us to give back and share our time, talents, and resources with those who need them.
As they do every year, Dutchess County residents have again displayed what makes us distinctly Dutchess: our charitable spirit, giving back to a community that has given so much to so many. That generosity, that altruism, makes as all proud to live here in Dutchess County, and may that spirit remain in our hearts and minds – not only on Thanksgiving, but through the holiday season and each day that follows.
