State Police investigate incident involving Amtrak train

The New York State Police is investigating an incident involving an Amtrak train in the town of Stuyvesant, Columbia County.
Several passenger cars of a southbound train decoupled from the engine. The train did not derail. There are no injuries and the passengers are being transferred to a new train.
The incident remains under investigation.
